My Bio
Lissa emerged from Zeus’ skull fully formed with a pencil in hand and a bowler hat on her head. Shortly after this miraculous birth Zeus took two aspirin, got distracted, and forgot all about it leaving her to wander off to her own devices.

Other sources report she was found on the doorstep of a haberdashery and raised by mad hatters. Even others claim that she was instead born in Texas and raised the usual way.

After discovering a knack for drawing things and making stuff up as she went along Lissa decided to study art and spend the rest of her life covered in ink and pixels. So far she has yet to really regret this.

Lissa has travelled the land with her faithful hat selling her art at whatever conventions and venues will take her. She also does commission work and has done work for board games, websites, small businesses, and satanic newsletters.

When she has spare time Lissa likes to write in the third person, play video games, watch horrible movies, and read books about dead people.

San Japan 2018

0 min read
Welp I've been keeping this quiet until I was sure there wasn't another hurricaine coming my way. But now I'm pretty sure its safe. I'm going to be tabling at San Japan this Labor Day weekend in San Antonio.  I'll be at table F104 - so if you're in the area feel free to drop by and say hello. I'll be the sleep deprived red head in hte bowler hat.

Welp, it took a record breaking hurricane but I finally had to break my attendance streak for San Japan. My chunk of Houston was lucky, so very lucky and blessed and we had minimal issues. But things are still a mess around here. The roads out of town were underwater. The highway I live off of, was flooded, people were boating on it. Another bit of highway, the flood waters moved the cement barriers all over the lanes. At the time I was intending to head out, a lot of the roads were still uncertain. And my little car, even though it is named after a fish man, is not the best in high waters. I've been stranded before in normal conditions,

If anyone was curious about the digital programs and hardware I use to work on the art you see on this page you are in luck! I've got a short write up of my digital tools posted on my Art Blog - I'll probably try to tackle traditional media at a later date. If anyone has any questions about specific pieces and techniques feel free to drop me a line.
